How’s It Work?

The Green Lantern Button grabs all the pending rewards in a pool, flips them into the farm’s base asset, and pumps them back in, juicing up everyone’s deposits.There’s a sweet, variable reward up for grabs to tempt users to hit that button. First one to smash it claims the prize and boosts the whole farm.

When Should I Go For It?

Totally optional—you don’t have to press it. But if you’re eyeing that reward, it might light a fire under you. If you’re aiming to stack Sonic-native tokens, weigh the reward token price against transaction costs for reinvesting, swapping rewards into your target token, and so on. You don’t even need to be in the pool to score the reward—anyone can hit The Green Lantern Button and cash in, so it’s a race. Stay quick!

The Green Lantern Process in Action

Say you’re in a pool for Shadow’s token : You’ve dropped your Shadow tokens into a Lantern Finance farm. Those LP tokens get staked on Shadow, and the pool spits out rewards in Sonic-native tokens.Someone hits The Green Lantern Button when there’s 100 Sonic tokens piled up:

• The button-pusher grabs 0.05 Sonic tokens (0.05% reward).

• Lantern Finance contract takes 9.95 Sonic tokens (10% fee, including the reward).

• 90 Sonic tokens get reinvested.

• Leftover tokens are swapped for Shadow and tossed back into the pool.

Safety Net

The Green Lantern Button’s got a built-in chill mode to stop back-to-back reinvests from spamming the system. If someone tries a second go too soon, it’ll flop with a tiny gas hit instead of eating up full fees.

Transaction Hiccups

If The Green Lantern Button fails post-press, it’s usually one of these:

• You snuck in a transaction when rewards were below the minimum—gas is cheap though (~0.03 Sonic tokens).

• The default gas limit didn’t cut it. Bump it up manually next time—otherwise, a fail here might burn the full default gas.

Fees

Every farm compound pulls a fee from the reward tokens, usually 5-10%. Fees flex with Sonic network vibes to keep rewards optimized. Two types:

• Reinvest Reward: Goes to the hero who hits The Green Lantern Button.

• Admin Fee: Snagged by Lantern Finance, auto-split to token holders, the treasury, and the crew building it out.

Lantern Finance keeps it clean—no deposit or withdrawal fees from us (though the underlying farms might have their own).
